today is another Sunday filled with Lasting Memories. Not only is there a new challenge, but Karen is also looking for new Design Team members. So if you are interested in getting on the DT, all you have to do is play along EVERY week in August. That's how I got on the DT and I've been having a blast doing it. Karen and the other ladies are so inspirational and encouraging. So, if you have thought about it, get that layout done and join in the fun.
This week, Karen has challenged us to do something new. I did this layout a very, very long time ago, but thought I'd share a fun technique with you. Now that I've dug this one out of the archives, I might try doing it again soon with some pictures of Miss Bella. My printer is currently out of ink but as soon as I have some I will create a layout using this technique. In my PSE #8 I opened my picture and then using filters, gave them a different look.
LO
Typed the word BIKING
and then using the Filter
Stylize and Emboss creates this affect
Open your picture and follow the above
steps and it will create this:
This was a lot of fun to do. There are so many different filters in your Photoshop program, so let your imagination take you to try some different filters.
Now don't forget that Lasting Memories is looking for some new people to add to their DT and the next person to inspire others could be you.
Hi there! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving sweet comments. I always love to read them. :0) I just LOVE the technique you've used on your LO here. OMGosh, I would have never thought to do that. It's a fabulous technique to incorporate. I'd like to do that with some floral photos I've taken and then emboss them and add them to cards. You've inspired me for sure! Just wanted to let you know that I already follow your lovely blog and I get your emails too! :0) Please stop on by my site any ol time! I'd be happy to see you. :0)
