Let me tell you what a week it's been. No, you don't really want to hear my troubles. I do have some great news though. I won a challenge over at Kandrewdesigns, Stamping a Material Girl. Remember my Wedding card with the tulle? Well...it got me the Threadlocks Stamp Collection from Loralie Designs and a Guest Design Spot over at Getting Cricky. WOW. Krystal is such a great inspiration. I've been following her since she began blogging and it's been a blast ever since. Please be sure to visit me here and there on Monday, March 7th and I will also have a giveaway.
Since St. Patty's day is just around the corner I thought I'd make something for the casino I work at. Last month for Valentine's day I made some contact paper cutouts, kinda like a faux etching. I never put them up on my blog and forgot to take pictures before taking them down, but I didn't forget this time. LOL I hate it when I do stuff like that. Anyway, I wanted some "green" shamrocks on contact paper. I bought clear contact paper at my favorite store, The Dollar Tree and cut the shamrocks and the horseshoe (free off of google) and traced them in SCAL. I then weeded the images and used a cotton ball and my "lettuce" and "gold" alcohol inks and attempted to color them. The pictures definately don't do them justice but the images are now a pale green and gold. In real life they look awesome.
As always, have a great day and god bless.
