Getting Cricky Freedom isn't Free Stamp Preview

Good morning,

I am so excited to talk about the new Getting Cricky stamps. As you know I am the Getting Cricky DT-Coordinator so I have seen these stamp previews for awhile already. I am sitting on pins and needles to get them into my hot little hands. Each day I will feature one of her new sets. She has them all on her blog, but I will have a giveway at the end of this post.

Today I am showing off her Freedom isn't Free sentiment set. These are available for preorder on her site here. She will also be giving free shipping for ALL preorders off of her site. Remember, for every stamp set you order she is also donating $1 per set to a charity. Freedom isn't Free benefit is for Intrepid Fallen Heroes . She did a lot of research to find out about all the charities she is donating to. This is what Intrepid Fallen Heroes is about:
Taken off of Kristal's post -

Intrepid Fallen Heroes is a non-profiit organization that provides rehabilitative services to US military members who are severely disfigured from combat. (Imagine half a face blown off, or the loss of both legs). This charity is VERY dear to my heart, because there is nothing like being 20 years old, engaged, and coming home so disfigured you can't serve in the military anymore, and you don't even look like the person you were when you left. This is the price many of our service members make to keep us free. My hubby is an active duty military member, and I pray for his protection every time he is sent overseas; and I can't imagine what it would be like to fight and serve for my country and be horribly disfigured upon return, but I can imagine how amazing it would be to know there is help for you--this is my small way of helping those men and women who give up their lives so I can sleep peacefully at night.

Have grown up in the military and having grandparents, father, uncles, cousins, brother and myself served in the military this stamp set hits way too close to home.  I absolutely love the charity also, because you never know what you might encounter when you serve to keep our Country free.  Both my grandfathers were wounded when they served.  One of them lost both legs and I can't imagine what my grandmother went throught raising all those children with a disabled husband.  I am so proud to say that I have ordered a few of these sets, so I know that part of my money is going to help someone who served to keep me and my family safe and free.

Okay, so here is the Freedom isn't Free set:

I can't wait to get my hands on this set for some cards I will be making for another OWH group. These will come in very handy for those cards.  I already have a few card ideas and one of my favorite sentiments is "Thank you for standing the watch". and it will go great with my Stand and Salute cricut cart. And "Sleeping peacefully tonight because of you" is another favorite of mine and I think any soldier would love to get a card with that sentiment. The best part of this stamp set for me is the font.  I really love the basic, not too cutsie, realistic font.  I think I can use each and everyone of these sentiments because they are so meaningful. That is one problem I have buying sentiment stamp sets, some of them just don't pertain to me, but I am pretty confident I will be using these alot.
Okay, so now for the giveaway...I am featuring a set each day for the next three days. You will get an entry of each of the things you do. I will add up all the comments left by Saturday night at midnight and announce the winner in the Simply Sunday challenge post and you will get to choose which stamp set you would like. Ha, no, I am not giving you a random set, you get to choose which one you want or need. So here is what you need to do:

*Please leave a comment telling me which sentiment you like the best.
*Become a follower, please, and/or leave a comment letting me know you are one and I will be sure to come and find your blog and follow you back.
*Post this on your facebook with a link back to me here and leave a comment telling me your facebook page.
*Post a picture of the stamp set on your sidebar with a link back to me and leave me a comment telling me you did that.
*Become an email subscriber or let me know that you already are one and leave a comment.

Now that's 5 chances per day if you choose to do all of them times 3 days...so you have 15 chances to win a set of your choice of the new Getting Cricky Stamp Sentiments. Woot, Woot.

Good luck

  1. OMG!!! I will have to get this set!! You are so right about the sayings being perfect for making cards for Operation Write Home. I really want to get myself organized enough to create cards for OWH. They will also come in handy for my son's pages. He is due back in a couple of weeks and may be going again in October. His 2 best friends are going too. So, I should probably get a jump on cards for all of them. I really don't have a favorite in this set, they are all wonderful. Thanks so much for showcasing these sets.
